Museo Nacional de Historia Natural

It develops and maintains scientifique collections (biological, paleontological and geological) both for investigation and scientific dissemination. 

 

 

The museum exhibition tells about the evolution, ecosystems and biodiversity of our territory from 70 million years ago until our days. A reconstruction of a dinosaur from the titanosaurus group is the trigger for the exhibition. 

It has also botanical, paleontological and zoological collection as well as a library with approximately 110 000 books being one of the two most important libraries specialize in Natural Sciences in the country. Also it supports the activities of the Museum.
