National Museum Of Visual Arts

The museum is responsible for spread plastic and visual culture, documenting the evolution of national art and increasing the collection of plastic and visual arts in the country.

Its collection, consisting of around 6,500 works, includes the works of the great masters of national art and those of artists who today continue to contribute their art to the rich plastic tradition of the country.

With the temporary exhibitions, the art of various foreign artists is exhibited, giving the museum greater national and international recognition.

In the Assembly and Conference Room, activities are carried out with the presence of Uruguayans and foreigners artists, thinkers and theorists.


It has an accessible entrance and elevator.
