It is located in the Centenario Stadium, below the Tower of Homages ("Torre de los Homenajes") and the Olympic Tribune ("Tribuna Olimpica").

On its ground floor, temporary exhibitions are held and it has an auditorium where images of Uruguay's football performance in the 1928 Olympics, the construction of the Centenario Stadium and the First World Championship of 1930 are projected.

On its upper floor, you can find the permanent collection of the museum: the history of Uruguayan Soccer from its beginnings to the present day, the furniture used in its beginnings and International Soccer material.

The museum has a multilingual public service: Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.
